Spring -- "Talk To The Rain"

Hey everybody! Just in case you are wondering what may have happened to your old Raggedy. Well, I'm still alive -- but too busy to do much blogging at the moment. Today's song came to my mind when I woke up to yet another rainy Sunday here in Texas.

The sweet sound of the 70's.

Today's song is from a 1973 single (which appears to be much sought after according to the comments I've read so far on YouTube.)

Hi Inge,

I'm glad you're still alive and kickin'.Nice ditty.IMHO: The lead singer did a lot of listening to Smokey Robinson.
I saw that picture before. As a matter of fact it's on the front of a blues LP entitled 'Red Light' by The Stroziers (Mainstream Records)

Best Wishes and...later,
Marc

Hi Marc,

it's always good to hear from you. Thanks for the well wishes -- I was having a bit of a rough time. But life's all good again.
And as always, you amaze me with your info about music. Now that you mentioned it, Smokey's influence on the lead singer seems quite obvious. I found a great article about the brothers Strozier here: http://soundological.blogspot.com/2009/09/stroziers-red-light.html
And the following clip shows Al Strozier with his band: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9qUZvEFphw
Aw -- I just love to dig out such stuff!
